Physical and chemical properties
- Appearance: white to slightly off-white powder,odourless and tasteless. MC is a nonionic water soluble cellulose ether. It can be dissolved in water below 60℃ and hardly dissolved in alcohol,chloroform and water.
- Real specific gravity: 1.26-1.31 Bulk density: 0.25-0.7g/cm3
- Charring temperature : 225℃-230℃
Applications
MC can be used as adhesive thickening dispersing and emulsifying agent and can be used for film former and also used as adhesives and moisture retention agent in construction industry. It has application in the field of oil drilling,daily chemical industry and others.
Package,storage,transportation
It is packed in fiber drum and lining with polyethylene film bag. Net weight 25kg per drum. Direct sunshine and raining,moisture must be avoided .
